All of our drive systems are designed with standard “off the shelf” components. No custom components or circuitry are used. The standard control panel includes oversized main breaker and distribution buss to allow for expansion. DC drives are normally oversized to 125% of motor load for both structural and mechanical mills.

Standardized modular panel layout and buss allow for the addition of motors to system (e.g.: separation of forming and fin section, accumulator control or driven squaring). Sub panels can be retrofit in existing drive tunnels or PMR so that obsolete drives can be replaced without complete re-installation.

Customer build specifications (if required ) are met for PLC and all electrical devices.

DC drives are Siemens or Rockwell. Encoder or tachometer feedback as preferred.

Operator’s Interface Terminal is TFT composition. CRT is available as an option. Five screens are included as standard with three additional screens designated for information specified by customer. Real time data systems are available as required.
